The most popular option for first-time visitors. Your certification course is bundled with a set number of nights at the dive resort — typically 3 nights for a standard Open Water course. The logic is straightforward: you need 3–4 days for the course, so accommodation for those nights is bundled into a single price. One booking, one payment, everything sorted.

3. Fun Dive Bundles (Certified Divers)

If you're already a certified diver and coming to Koh Tao purely to dive, fun dive bundles are how you get the best per-dive rate. Instead of paying 900–1,200 THB per dive, you pre-purchase a block of dives at a reduced rate. Typical bundle structures across Koh Tao: 5 dives, 10 dives, or unlimited dives for a set number of days.

It unlocks depth access to Koh Tao's best sites — Chumphon Pinnacle, Southwest Pinnacle, the full depth of the HTMS Sattakut — and the 5 adventure dives in the course count toward your logged dive total. If you have a week in Koh Tao, do Advanced first (2 days), then spend the remaining 5 days on fun dives with your new 30m access.

If You're a Serious Diver Coming Specifically to Dive

Fun dive bundles are your best value. Our maximum group size for fun dives is 4 certified divers per guide — so you're not being herded onto a boat with 30 strangers. Pre-purchase a multi-dive bundle, choose your sites each morning based on conditions and what you want to see, and dive them properly. Chumphon Pinnacle, Sail Rock, and Southwest Pinnacle are worth multiple dives each.

If You Only Have 2–3 Days

Try Scuba if you've never dived. Open Water is 3–4 days so it won't fit. But a Try Scuba experience will give you genuine open-water dives and a memorable underwater experience. If you're already certified, 2 days of fun dives is still excellent — Koh Tao has enough site variety that back-to-back dive days are never boring.

Practical Tips for Booking a Package

Start the SSI theory before you arrive. The SSI App is free, all theory is available digitally, and completing it in advance saves you roughly half a day in Koh Tao. That's half a day you can spend in the water instead of in a classroom.
